PIT STOP LED LOLLIPOP

CLP-100 is a modern, illuminated and highly safe solution for precise guidance of the vehicle into your pit box. Thanks to the integrated LED display, it ensures excellent visibility even in demanding conditions and minimizes the risk of entering the wrong pit. The construction features a lightweight and durable carbon pole with its own battery power supply, enabling fully mobile use without the need for external power. The system offers a dual-direction function suitable for circuits with reverse pit lane orientation, along with simple push-button operation for quick and intuitive handling. Control System

Graphics and LED display elements are controlled by the ESP32 Matrix Portal system, allowing flexible operation and fully customisable display settings to suit customer requirements. The programming app allows users to configure colours, text, scrolling text, images, countdown timers and elapsed-time counters.

Display Operation

Once the startup sequence is complete, the system automatically displays the custom-configured default screen while the lollipop is held vertically. When the lollipop is moved into a horizontal position, it automatically switches to a second programmable screen, such as a red signal or other custom graphics. Pressing the “GO” button switches the display to a third programmable screen. All screens can be fully configured through the app, which connects to the device via its own Wi-Fi hotspot.

Power Supply

The battery system provides approximately 2 hours of continuous operation at 100% brightness. Brightness can be adjusted through the programming app. In actual use, battery life depends on the number of pit stops. The device uses Milwaukee batteries with a capacity of 3–5 Ah, with one battery included in the package.

Construction

The body, controls and battery adapters are made from carbon-fibre-reinforced PETG, providing high strength and durability while keeping weight low. The frame can be supplied in almost any colour and personalised with your team’s logo. The pole is made entirely from carbon fibre.

Operating Conditions

The device is designed for demanding motorsport environments and is fully operational in rainy conditions, with an IP54 protection rating. However, as it is an electronic device incorporating LEDs, extra care must be taken to protect the LEDs from physical damage. Damage to the LEDs compromises the device’s water resistance. If this occurs, please contact our service support team to arrange repair of the module.
